If you design PCB with SMD components, you know how tedious and time-consuming the soldering operation using a classic or air soldering station can be. In industries the reflow ovens are used, that allow the welding with a certain temperature curve. In this project we see how to build one starting from an old kitchen oven.
The project is based on a Blue Pill with STM32 that will set a certain temperature through a solid state relay that feeds the oven resistance and reading the temperature through a MAX6675 module with its thermocouple. The oven also has a 3.5″ Nextion touch display where it is possible to set all the parameters and view the temperature trend in real time.
Of course it is possible to use any Arduino if you are not familiar with the STM32 platform, keeping the circuit diagram.
